I’ve been sick today, not much going on, but I did manage to get a few queries out to some agencies. This has been the story of my life though.
It hasn’t yet been a week since my last post, but I’m cracking down on my “plans” now, only in a different way. No rules! First of all, people and their opinions are just that: people and their opinions. That’s who we are. We all have them.
It’s coming up on a month since I finished the book now. I’ve had to make a number of tweaks, little additions, corrections, and a few date changes. Continue reading “Day 26, A.D.”
So. I’ve just come off of the last (last? Yeah right!) rewrite of Shrapnel and delivered it to my copy editor yesterday afternoon. It is out of my hands. Again!
So, now what am I doing now that I have finished the book? And what’s the next step? What’s the plan? When can people read it? When will it be in a store like Amazon, Barnes and Noble, etc.? Can it be downloaded on a Kindle?
Okay, so where have I been? Well, guess what? I got my manuscript back from Lisa late last week! So what do you think I’ve been doing? I haven’t had every day to work on it, mjp has been sick, poor thing, but I’ve been spending most of three days or so with it. I’m into it a little bit now.
First, welcome to my writer’s blog. I’m going to be using this thing specifically for “the writing process,” like a past and present diary, and plan to share what’s on the path as I learn to get better.
Like most people, I have never written a memoir before. It was not an easy task and I have a lot to express about what it took to get here. Not only that, I want to keep track of how far I still have to go. Perhaps that will be of some interest to some.
